ABSTRACT

The adjustment and balance between life expectations and the limitations in physical, psychological, and social functioning determines the extent of quality of life in patients with epilepsy. Individual care and safety, social relations and problems, and mobility are factors that affect the quality of life. A succeşful treatment of seizures is poşible only with early diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and improved ability of patients to cope with difficult and streşful situations and suffering aşociated with epilepsy.
