ABSTRACT

Pathology of epilepsy is a highly heterogeneous sub discipline of neuropathology which needs sophisticated experience and an advanced knowledge of neuroanatomy. Gross and microscopic evaluation of materials of patients operated for the treatment of epilepsy will be discussed. Immunohistochemical applications and brief clues for proper interpretation of the specimens will be discussed.
