Development of epileptic seizures after electrical shock in humans is very rarely reported. In this paper, two patients, a 22-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man, who suffered from partial and secondary generalized seizures after an electrical injury are reported. Neither of the patients had a history of seizures before the injury. Epileptic foci occurring as a result of neuronal necrosis and gliosis after electrical injury may be responsible for seizures. Both patients became seizure-free with oxcarbazepin treatment.
